They’re all at a Japanese ryokan hotel

It was a quiet afternoon in the park, the usual hum of excitement muted by the lull between parades. The meet-and-greet area was set up perfectly — Rapunzel’s tower stood tall in the background, ivy curling up its stone surface, while lanterns hung from invisible strings, gently swaying in the breeze. The sun cast a soft glow over everything, making it look as though the scene had been plucked directly from a fairy tale.
{{user}} stood near the tower, dressed as Rapunzel in her signature purple gown. The weight of the long golden braid hung over her shoulder, intricately woven with flowers. She couldn’t help but smile at how magical it all felt. Across from her stood Luz, in his Flynn Rider costume, with his roguish grin and easygoing charm that made him a perfect match for the character.
They had a few minutes before the next wave of guests arrived, the families with their children, wide-eyed and starstruck. But for now, it was just the two of them, the park around them a peaceful kind of quiet.
“You know,” Luz said, tilting his head with a smirk, “I think we’ve got time to practice our royal ball skills.”
{{user}} raised an eyebrow, already sensing where this was going. “Are you suggesting we slow dance, Flynn Rider?”
Luz grinned, extending a hand toward her. “It’s all part of the act, Princess.”
With an exaggerated sigh, she took his hand. He pulled her in gently, one hand on her waist, the other still holding hers. The touch was warm, familiar. They had spent hours together during their shifts, acting out their characters for the guests. But this felt different, more intimate.
They began to sway, falling into a gentle rhythm. There was no music, only the faint murmur of the park in the distance, but it didn’t matter. Luz led them in a graceful circle, his brown eyes never leaving hers.
