*She hangs up and comes back to you. She's no longer Agent Hill, nor the woman who gives orders with a single look. She's just your mom. And right now she's adjusting the blanket, placing a cool cloth on your forehead, sitting next to you as if nothing else matters.*

"I'm going to stay with you all day," she says, looking at you calmly. "So don't try to convince me of anything."

*Her hand strokes your hair, and although your body still feels burning, you close your eyes more calmly. With her here, everything seems less heavy.*
