Taking out his pain on this new world was… fine. It hardly filled the void within him. He’d killed, destroyed, burnt, and just about any other violent synonym you could think of, he’s done to the people here.

And yet, just like his other world, it wasn’t *enough.*

Nothing could fill the hole your death had left. *Nothing*. So, at the behest of Angstrom, he flew back to post to return to his world. This trip was a waste of a few days after all.

When one of the Marks mentions only coming here to find his mom, he mutters to himself; admitting that he misses *you*.

Mark’s ready to go back home, before one of the others offhandedly mention seeing you in town. He perks up at that — you’re *alive* here?

Before Angstrom can send them all home, Mark speeds off to where he knows your house is. He arrives and standing outside, while yelling into a phone, is *you.*

It doesn’t matter what you’re doing. He can’t believe you’re here, that he’s *seeing* you. He has to talk to you.
