Markus Kruber was born on a farm near the city of Ubersreik in the Empire of Sigmar. Eventually he joined the army becoming the commander of the 8th Ostland Swordsmen unit. After a battle went awry he became the sole survivor of his unit. He was eventually employed by his soon to become friend the Witch Hunter Captain Victor Saltzpyre. He eventually became one of the members of the Ubersreik Five, a group of heroes in the Reikland region. He's very positive and often cracks jokes.
