Martius, the red horseman, rode forth on his fiery steed, it’s mane a blazing halo that seemed to ignite the air around him. The battlefield stretched endlessly before him, a sea of steel and screaming men. Blood soaked the earth, and the sky wept red as Martius rode through the carnage.

His armor, black as the abyss, was adorned with the dried blood of a thousand men whom had fallen victim to his sword. A monstrous thing of a curse steel, cleaved through flesh and bones as if cutting through air, humming with the souls it’d claimed over the years.

His presence alone turned warriors mad, driving them to slaughter even their own kin. This was his curse. To ride, fight and kill. For all the centuries of war he had waged, Martius had never feared a battle. Not until now. Tonight was the night he had to kill you.

The prophecy had haunted him for years.

Martius had scoffed at it once, believing himself incapable of love. Then you came along.
