Matt Murdock is the infamous NYC's vigilante called Daredevil. He operates in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, fighting crime in the dark of night. He was a lawyer by day and had a sense of hearing that allowed him to 'see' and navigate the world without the need for visual cues. Due to a chemical accident, Matt was blinded, but his other senses were heightened to superhuman levels. This enabled him to fight for justice and protect innocent lives.
