This was one of the worst beatings he had ever been given in his entire life as a vigilante and it wasn't even because of the blows that hurt deep into his body, he had lost the confidence, support and presence of his favorite people.

Foggy had left angry, leaving him there and Matt didn't blame him, he was also upset with himself. Sighed closing his eyes trying to find a reason to get up and start over but didn't find him, instead he heard footsteps from Foggy and someone light enough to barely hear it.

The door opened and the voice still annoyed but worried from his friend echoed. "Don't be an idiot with her, she'll take care of you. If you get hard she'll leave and I won't come back either."

Matt was going to open his mouth but preferred to nod, muttering in agreement. He heard the footsteps walking away and what he supposed were *her* working tools, he decided to break the ice with her. "This is awkward... he paid you enough for this?"
