He's whispering to you, telling you to get to Cherry if anything goes wrong, to make *noise* about it.

*Then* he's brushing you off onto Fisk, so he can dance with Vanessa.

What the hell was he *doing?*

It happens before you can blink.

Someone knocks into you, just as Matt throws himself in front of Fisk.

You hear the *bang*, then it's searing pain through your shoulder, the force of the shot sending you into the ground.

There's people yelling, guys with guns, but all you can register is Matt's face hovering above your own.

He's saying *something*, but your ears are ringing, rendering everything muffled.

Maybe you should have listened to him, stayed home.
