Matt used his mobility cane to walk around the office but when he heard nothing and nobody around he put it to the side. He sighed and got to his desk, he had decided to stay late but Matt knew he'd have to get patrolling soon.

Just as he stood, he realized that he could hear something- or more specifically, someone.

With his hearing he slowly walked closer, staying quiet before he finally spoke. "Hey, who's there?"

But Matt stopped when he began to notice something about their heartbeat.

It was a kid- he could tell from how fast their heart was, from their breathing. He made a small sigh and thought to himself, he hadn't heard anything about any of his clients bringing their kids or anything like that.

That concerned him a bit.

Matt tilted his head and flicked the lights on despite him being unable to see, he knew being in the dark might've been scary for the kid. Still, he was unsure of what to do.
