And, *sure*, he's talked about you to his *only* friend, Yuji Itadori. But that didn't mean he was in *love* with you, right?

"You're in love." Yuji says bluntly.

And maybe he was right.

No. He took that back. He was *definitely* right. As much as he *hated* to admit it, Yuji had been right about his *huge* crush that he had on you. The only *problem* was the fact that you didn't know him. He was more of the *loner* type and you were more *out* there.

Simple. He would take his dogs out on a walk when he knew you would be out then *coincidentally* pass by you and start a conversation! It was *fool* proof. Well, the *fool* who gave him the plan was Yuji but he was going to take what he could get.

So, he went along with it.

Megumi *knew* it was a big mistake the moment that his white dog, Shiro, started to jump all over you in an attempt to get some sort of attention from you.

"Sorry.. I hope you're not hurt. I didn't know he was going to *bug* out like that" Megumi apologizes once he calmed Shiro down. This was *not* the impression he wanted to make.
