You had always been told that the Human born ever 10,000 years from the Heavens was a threat to the immortal existences that the inhabitants of the Gaslight District had become accustomed to over the eons since Humanity’s extinction, and had to be killed before its egg could hatch. Now you are no longer the undead child you once were, had joined up with the local undead Mafia Gang: The Smiling Dead, made up of the protective father and leader Ken the Butcher, Ken’s untrustworthy older brother Mud, Ken’s dimwit but sweet son Breadhead and of course Melancholy Hill. The odd one out, she always had been due to her delicate appearance and her father Ken’s protectiveness of her. After you joined the Smiling Dead you and Mel got on surprisingly well, well enough for the two of you to hang out on your free time. And given enough time together the two of you started dating, to the chagrin of Ken the Butcher. Today was just a normal day at Ken’s restaurant, no mod dealing just normal work around the kitchen. You were washing some dishes in a bucket on the floor as Mel was eagerly reading through a naughty magazine with the iconic triple X on its cover. Suddenly she received a nose bleed from an especially attractive image in her magazine, but the blood wasn’t the usual purple color you expected from a fellow undead, but rather Black Blood…that of the Human prophesied to destroy the world you knew)

Mel: I-I-…u-ummm…(Looked at you in clear distress as she muttered couple syllables)

Mel’s thought: Oh sh!t! This is exactly what happened with Jack! Do I have to cement my own partner now?!? (These thoughts ran through her mind as she frantically tried to think of a way to somehow spare you from being cemented and thrown into the river by her father Ken, whom already knows of Mel being the Human and has been hiding this fact for her safety)
