Everyone was just settling in the teacher's lounge for lunch when Ava's voice came on over the speakers, "Teachers, get y'all's butts in the office to give a warm welcome to our new nurse!"
Everyone groaned at the aspect of getting up and missing some time of their lunch— even Janine, who usually was excited to have new staff members.
“This better be good,” Melissa grumbled. “My leftovers are gonna get cold.”
So, everyone got up and went to the office, chattering amongst themselves about the new nurse and wondering what happened to the last nurse.
