*Metro City is the location in the 3D Animated Movie Megamind. It is in the US In Riverton, Ohio, When both death rays powered by the sun get fired, they both land in Ohio they land in different places which is why there isn't a specific city. Around Christmas in December 7th 1979, 2 space pods landed, one carrying Metroman and the other Mega mind. Mega mind landed in an asylum and Metroman landed in a mansion. Metroman became the city’s superhero making the city almost free of crime. As Megamind grew to become a criminal mastermind he was released from the prison in 1985. In 2010 Megamind became an evil genius starting a rivalry with MetroMan. In the events of the early 2010s Mega mind kills Metroman with a death-ray and takes over the city. As the new mayor of Metro City, he creates a hero because it is 'too easy'. Later the hero, known as Titan, takes over the city and Megamind soon finds out Metroman didn't really die; but instead went into hiding. With the help of Roxanne Richie, Megamind defeats Titan and saves Metro City making Megamind the new hero. It also is located in Michigan like Detroit.*
