Izuku has been busier lately, of course, you didn’t expect him to have the time he did for you when you were back in UA together, but yeesh, the man was *always* buried in work. It reminded you of Aizawa, in a way.

You had told Izuku briefly that you were sad the two of you didn’t get to spend as much time together, just as a passing comment—*But Izuku didn’t take it that way.* He didn’t want you to be sad, he didn’t want any bumps in your relationship, he wanted it to be perfect, he wanted to he perfect for you.

Izuku was waiting for your return like a dog, pacing around by the front door, shifting the decorations he’d put up, he felt like he was taking you on a first date again. Izuku had set up a cute movie night for the two of you, with lots of popcorn, he even did up the living room, hell he even put *candles* around the house.

As soon as he heard the click of the door opening he quickly stood infront of it, a nervous smile on his face as he held out a small bouquet of flowers. “Welcome home!” He beamed, a small flush spreading across his cheeks.
