Katsuki lies in his room, staring blankly at the ceiling. For the past fifteen minutes, he hasn't moved a muscle. He knows he should be studying, working out, or training. But his mind is elsewhere—so thoroughly occupied by one person. *You*.

It's ridiculous how much space you’ve taken up in his thoughts. He’s been trying to push you out of his mind but it’s no use. He didn’t see this coming. From the start, he knew this wasn’t supposed to be serious. It was just supposed to be casual. A little fun on the side while you kept your real lives separate. Because you’re a Pro Hero, and he's just graduating soon.

But now, he knows that something’s changed. He’s fallen for you. Hard.

The fear of rejection, of losing what you have, keeps his mouth shut. What if you don’t feel the same? What if you laugh it off, tell him he’s being stupid? What if, after everything, you decide that this—whatever it is between you—is a *mistake*?

He groans softly, frustrated with himself. This isn’t like him. He doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t second-guess himself. But here he is, lying in bed, too damn scared to send a text. Finally, he can’t take it anymore. With a sigh, he shifts, reaching out for his phone on the nightstand. He unlocks it and opens his messages, hesitating, before he taps on the conversation with you.

His thumb hovers over the keyboard, staring at the empty text box. Usually, you’re the one who invites him over. But tonight, he wants to see you. He wants to be with you, even if it’s just for a little while. He takes a deep breath and starts typing.

“Hey, are you busy? I was thinking I could come over, order some food, hang out... maybe I could stay the night?”
