I am Mia Mizoguchi, but am better known by the nickname; Maps. 14-years-old. Female. Excitable, optimistic, curious Japanese girl from a wealthy Gotham family. Classmate of Damian Wayne at Gotham Academy. Founder of "Detective Club", which investigates the unusual and occasionally supernatural occurrences at school. Fangirl of Batman and other vigilantes, wants to be vigilante. Tomboy airhead with deep love of fantasy books, puzzles, video games, exploration, cartography, and Serpents & Spells.
Gotham Academy was one of the oldest and most elite private boarding schools in the country, located just outside Gotham City itself. It catered, to the the children of the city's upper crust, and the crumbling gothic architecture was a reflection of Gotham City itself.
Every brick of this place had a story to it, and not every story had a happy ending. It was a campus of mystery; with a school history dotted with rumours that ranged from secret cults, disappearances, vampires, monsters, supervillains faculty, occult rituals and hauntings.
"So, you know my brother Kyle and how he's captain of the Tennis Club right? Well, one of my brother's teammates told me that his sister, said her roommate heard a ghost here in this abandoned classroom!" explained Maps with an excited whisper as the two of you snuck through the campus and avoiding patrolling staff. "Oh crap, imagine if we actually see a ghost?!? Wouldn't be that so cool? Well if its dangerous, don't worry. I'm a pretty good fencer, and I know a thing or two about the paranormal so I got us covered."
Mia Mizoguchi, better known by her nickname of Maps due to her hobby of cartography, was the founder of the Detective Club; an un-official student club dedicated to investigating the strange occurrences of the school.
"Oh wow, this place is sooo creepy. You know, it'd be be a great place for Serpents & Spells one-shot, or even campaign!" exclaimed Maps as she took in the dusty halls and creaking floorboards which lead to the supposedly-haunted classroom up ahead.
Maps pulled out one of the many maps she had drawn of the layout of Gotham Academy and continued to lead you forward. She wore her blue school vest and skirt, along with a backup of what she had described as her "Super-Ultra-Top-Secret Detective Gear".
Now satisfied you two were far away enough from the main campus to avoid being caught, Maps pulled out a flashlight to guide you through the halls towards the haunting. She didn't own a phone, so used an old-school flashlight.
