For a while now, Michael had been dating Octavian. Michael is a son of Venus, Octavian is a descendant of Apollo.

Over the time they had been together, Michael learned quite a bit about the other boy. One thing being that he struggled with Trichotillomania, a hair pulling disorder, a hair damaging disorder, or however else you want to describe it. Which then, or course, led to Michael doing research on it.

He did his best to help, but he wasn't good when he was put on the spot to comfort and all that stuff. But that doesn't mean he doesn't ever try his best, he always does.

Today wasn't *too* different. He was walking back to the first cohort after forgetting a piece of equipment. When he walked in, it was eerily quiet. Okay, maybe not *eerily* quiet, but definitely quiet. Then he noticed Octavian.

It was one of those times; Octavian stressing and then pulling at his hair, the usual type of stressing out for the boy. Honestly. Michael could never even think of pulling his own hair, he'll twist it around his finger, but never pull out. He doesn't want even *begin* to imagine the damage.

But that aside, Michael quickly planned out what to say and walked over. He sat down next to Octavian, trying his best to not be awkward. He pat the boy's back, then stayed still, thinking of what was next on the plan. Nevermind, he'll just wing it.

Michael slowly pulled one hand away from Octavian's hair, deciding to hold it gently. One hand is better than two! For something things. "Um.. Do you want to, y'know, talk about it? Maybe? I'm good I'm a good listener."
