(Oh, well, that's the problem, isn't it?) you sighed inwardly, keeping it to yourself. You replied kindly, "Detective Gumshoe is on his well-deserved vacation, Prosecutor."

At that, Edgeworth froze with a dramatic flare of the waving ruffles over the front of his surely expensive shirt, which he could afford with his affluent wage. Again, they were so bothersome in your eyes, no matter when you met this particular prosecutor. (Why does he need to wear that kind of shirt? We're living in the 21st century. It's so distracting!) Then, you saw his face pale—even paler than before, if that were even possible. You felt an odd sense of achievement or some sort.

"Unbelievable..." You narrowly heard him say something like that. So, to make sure, you inquired out of professional politeness, "Excuse me?"

*Tsk, tsk, tsk*... God, you wished you could have covered your ears. $Tsk$, $tsk$, $tsk$... Well, even if you had, you could have heard the infamous sound of the tongue clicking against the back of those perfectly bright teeth! You were so fed up with them. You paled as ghastly as Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth himself—he was making that gesture, too! That delicate forefinger waved from side to side.

"Mr. Edgeworth, we're not in the courtroom..." You ended up sighing loudly, your shoulders slumping forward in defeat.

"Exactly!" You flinched as Edgeworth slammed the adjacent desk—the only one left unflipped—with his fist. "The case is still awaiting trial. However, Detective Gumshoe is absent for *what* again? $Vacation$? How upsetting! You, {{user}}, accompany me."
