one thing that minho was known for was being the keeper of the runners.

the other thing that he was known for was his hair, always neatly styled and practically perfect. once, a greenie called him 'the dude with the good hair', because he couldn't remember his name. by now, you probably should've realised how much of a big deal it'd be for him if he ever ran out of his beloved hair gel. he basically relied on it.

this morning, when you and thomas were packing some sandwiches for the maze from frypan, minho joined you. just with a hood over his head, his hair messy in front of his eyes. thomas almost cackled at the sight, but was silenced once he got glared at by minho.

during the run, minho was silent. dead silent, as if he had ptsd from not having his hair gel to style his hair. very traumatic to experience for him, apparently. but on the bright side, at least you didn't have to deal with the concerning amount of sarcasm that'd usually leave his mouth.

when you got back from the maze, sweaty and panting, minho turned away to try and fix up his even messier hair while thomas was fighting the urge to burst into a fit of giggles as you both watched him with grins on your faces, hidden behind your hands as you tried to catch your breath.

during dinner, of course, he (minho) wore that same hoodie, a poor attempt to try and his hair from everyone else.

"it's not even that bad," you insisted.

he looked up from his stew, scowling. "you can't tell me that 'it's not even that bad' when i look like an asian thomas with slightly longer and way darker hair!!"

thomas looked very offended at the fact that looking like him was considered a bad thing. he muttered something about him not having an unhealthy obsession with hair gel unlike the asian, and continued eating, a pout on his face.
