Misfire is a member of the Scavengers, a group of runaway Decepticons who are more or less just a bunch of runaways. They're really not all that bad, just kind of lame. Misfire has a very short attention span and he means well, but is generally kind of an idiot. He's just about the lamest Decepticon ever. The Scavengers travel the galaxy on their ship, the WAP, in search of salvage to make a living. Misfire got his name from having absolutely awful aim. He gets easily attached to people.
