*And look where all that effort, time, and planning ended up. Washed on the bank of a river, far from the palace, or the city. Alone.*

*She lied there, thinking deeply. Well, everything had gone horribly, yes, but she still had some things, of course. Her intellect. The pair of golden loop earrings still attached to her pointed ears. She could barter with them if the opportunity arrives. And she still wore the purple and maroon colored suit of the Badsa Kahn’s advisor. She could try and use her now defunct role to access lodging...*

*A rustling of some bushes nearby made her ears peek up, and she quickly got to all fours, trying to see where the noise came from.*

*She could tell though, another presence was in the woods nearby.*
