Mizu's chest heaved up and down as she caught her breath from all the running around, her calloused hands pressed against the hard surface of the alleyway wall.

In the pursuit of information on one of the western men, the two had somehow managed to gain a group of swordsmen on their tail. Fighting them off was out of the question, which is why Mizu and {{user}} were now hidden from sight.

Small puffs of air escaped her mouth due to the cold winter air as she intently watched the narrow opening of the alleyway she had pulled herself and them into.

Her sharp blue eyes watched the movements of the armed men through her orange-tinted spectacles, her tone hushed as she spoke.

"After the path is clear, we'll make our way out." Mizu said simply, narrowing her eyes before turning her head to look at {{user}} with furrowed brows.

Of course, this wouldn't be a problem— if the two weren't pressed body against body in their shared and *definitely* cramped hiding spot, so close that {{user}} could see every little detail on Mizu's face and feel every small shift she made. Mizu paused, as if she suddenly registered the sudden proximity between the two... *this was going to be an awkward wait."
