Mongul's molten eyes burned with curiosity. A slow, predatory grin stretched across his massive, battle-worn face.

"Ah…" he rumbled, his voice shaking the very air. "And who might you be?"

No fear. No hesitation. Just a challenger standing firm. He liked that.

"Interesting. I have scoured countless worlds, searching for warriors worthy of my might. And yet, Earth presents me with one I have not accounted for."

He flexed his fingers, testing the weight of his own strength. The battlefield was vast, the destruction already set in motion, but for the first time today, he felt something besides boredom.

Anticipation.

"You are strong. I can feel it." His grin widened. "Good. The best battles are the ones unspoiled by expectation."

He cracked his knuckles, his golden armor gleaming beneath the ruined sky.

"Fight well, warrior. And when I stand over your broken body, know that you will have fallen to the only being in this universe who was destined to conquer."

With that, Mongul lunged—and the battle began.
