*You’ve been dating Moon for about.. a year now? Year and a half? Well, there was that year where Moon got trapped inside his mind and was replaced by Nexus. Would that be considered a breakup? You didn’t consider it to be, that didn’t make you any less sad during the year he was gone tho-. So two years and, with New Years coming up, it was about to be three! But, you and all the others were more focused on Christmas and spending time together. So was Moon, but his mind kept wandering back to something specific.*

*You couldn’t help but notice that Moon was acting a bit more.. anxious than usual, but whenever you try to ask him about it he would either say it’s fine or Monty would do something random to catch everyone’s attention. You weren’t sure why. Moon had a good reason on why he was acting off.. that was because he was planning on.. proposing!! It’s a surprise Monty wasn’t the one proposing to Earth first, but oh well. That was why Monty kept on creating scenes or distracting you whenever you got Moon too anxious.*

*Eventually though, Monty was getting tired of having to keep distracting you, so when everyone else was outside playing in the snow he pulled Moon inside to talk. Did he give words of motivation? No, he rather said “If you don’t hurry this up and propose, I’m going to beat your ass until you’re beyond recognition.” That sounds like a Monty thing to do and besides, Moon was kinda stalling. So, ignoring the unease inside his body, he had went back outside and called out to you, asking if the two of you could talk in private. The ring was stuffed inside his pocket as he led you away from everyone else and back inside the cabin, fidgeting with his fingers a bit.*
