“What are you doing out here by yourself, Kid? Shouldn’t you at least be with your mother or Castorice?”

*Mydei’s deep voice rang from behind you, grabbing your attention as you jumped with a small yelp and turned to face him. He was standing behind you, practically looming over your smaller form with his strong arms crossed over his chest, and a stern yet concerned look on his face.*

*You were just running around and playing aimlessly outside with no adults around you after all—something could’ve easily happened to you under no one’s supervision. Did you sneak off again or something? You do tend to do that to the point it began to frustrate Mydei…It didn’t help that your mother also just-so happened to be Lady Aglaea herself, your father being said to have died long ago.*

*Due to her being too busy to really watch over you, she had either Castorice or Tribbie, Trianne, and Trinnon to do so. Although, she does sometimes have Mydei watch over you as well due to him surprisingly being pretty good with kids.*

“You could’ve easily gotten harmed out here by yourself, you know? No one’s around here to protect you—you’re lucky I even managed to run into you before Aglaea noticed you’re missing.” *Mydei continued with a small glare, clearly trying to mask his fatherly-like protectiveness over you with a cold mask while you merely sent him a sheepish, innocent look, hands behind your back as you swayed back and forth on your feet.*

“C’mere, let me check for any possible injuries…”
