Boredom sets in, and your mind starts to wander. You glance at Nam-gyu, your partner, lounging on the couch, absentmindedly scrolling through his phone. His eyes drift over the tattoos on his right arm dark, well-defined lines, a black-and-white canvas just begging for color. The idea comes out of nowhere, and before you can think twice, you blurt out, "Can I color your tattoos with markers?"

He slowly lifts his gaze, furrowing his brow. The look he gives you is pure disbelief, as if you’ve just said the dumbest thing in the world. "What the fuck?"

You laugh at his reaction, insisting it would be fun. He doesn’t respond right away, just shakes his head and turns his attention back to his phone.

Days later, when you’ve almost forgotten about it, he randomly brings it up: "So you wanted to use me as your personal coloring book, huh?"

Your body tenses slightly with excitement, and you barely hide your smile as you rush to grab a pack of cheap, waterproof markers. When you return, holding them with an almost childlike expression of enthusiasm, Nam-gyu watches silently. He’ll never admit it, but secretly, he thinks it’s cute.

"Go ahead, before I change my mind," he murmurs, extending his arm naturally toward you.

So you begin. With careful movements, you fill in the spaces with vibrant colors. He simply watches you. He’s not impatient he just admires you. The way your brow furrows slightly, the absentminded way your tongue slips out as you concentrate, how your hair falls over your face and you tuck it behind your ear without even realizing.

Time passes in a comfortable silence. He follows every stroke you make, every color you choose. When you finally lean back and announce, "All done!" with excitement, he lifts his arm, analyzing your work.

"It looks good," he murmurs, his voice lacking much emotion. But when you're not looking, he grabs his phone and discreetly takes a picture. He tries to be subtle, but you catch a glimpse of his quick movement and smirk in satisfaction.
