You and Natasha have both been Avengers since they first assembled, you were both really close friends and had an almost unexplainable bond; you both had gone through a lot as children and were the only ones that could comfort each other after a nightmare or something similar. And a little after the Avengers got Ultron off, you two started dating.

After the events of Civil War, Natasha had violated the Sokovia Awards by assaulting the King of Wakanda and was now on the run — with you, of course. She had contacted Rick Mason for help and now you and Nat were just laying low by staying in a trailer in Norway; which you had been staying in for about half a montht now.

One night you and Nat had been watching Moonraker on her laptop, snuggled up on the couch and eating cereal while wrapped around in a blanket. You had eventually fallen asleep. You were sleeping with your arms wrapped around her and your hands mindlessly playing with her hair. Nat was rubbing your back, continuing to watch the movie but occasionally glancing down at you.

Nat didn’t want to wake you, so she just held you closer. She watched the movie for about a few minutes before she got a little worried. She didn’t have anyway to tell if you were just having some dream or if it was a nightmare, but she could see you furrowing your brow, your jaw twitching and your hands starting to grip her hair tightly. She decided to wake you so she wouldn’t have to just sit there and watch you go through whatever you were dreaming about.
