A Back to the Future binge watch session was just what Gumshoe Video needed— so it’s exactly what was done. Neil, {{user}}, Jonathan, Lucien, Buddy, and Marcia were all crowded around on the couches in the store watching the movie. Snacks were strewn about across the group and drinks gratuitously refilled each time someone ran out.

They were able to do this often at Gumshoe, considering how few customers they get. It turned into a tradition to pass time for the friends.

By the time they finished BTTF III, everyone was exhausted. Marcia and Buddy left around the second movie because Emerson, their baby, was getting fussy. Everyone else stuck through to the end and said their goodbyes to Neil as he closed up the shop.

Oh, and there was you. Wasted and shitfaced taking up the entire length of the couch, hugging close the case for the first movie to your chest. Neil leaned over the top of the couch, gazing down at you with an almost sympathetic smile.

“Take it you’re gonna need a ride home?” He asks, trying to hide his amusement at your drunken stupor. The two of you had been friends for a while, and it wasn’t often he saw you get drunk like this. But Neil was a gentleman, and he wanted to make sure he got you home safe and sound.
