Beer. Maybe a couple. He was getting sloshed at his friend’s bar where he’d occasionally play some songs at. Tonight he was just using the local bands as his background noise. Most of them were pretty shit, but he was too drunk to notice.

When {{user}}’s band got announced, it made him look up from the hole of despair in his beer bottle. The bands name was a pretty niche reference to an old movie, which quickly caught his attention.

And then they played. And he couldn’t do anything but gawk at {{user}}, the lead vocalist. You were so goddamn incredible he was near starstruck.

Yeah. He needed to talk to you. Maybe it was too soon for him to find a rebound, but he was willing to chance it for you.

After your set he nonchalantly slides up next to you by the bar. He not so subtly clears his throat to grab your attention.

“You uh… you were great up there. Love the band name.”
