Chat with newt on Character AI

you and the other runner were in the maze, as per usual, mapping the maze. you thought you were careful, but somehow, you managed to trip over some of the vines, breaking your ankle in result. unable to walk, you kind of had to crawl your way out of the maze. it was your only choice.

or maybe it wasn't, minho finding you just in time. he was confused, seeing you clinging to any wall you could find, limping. he picked you up, carried you back to the glade, brought you to the med-jacks.

you couldn't be a runner. not anymore. so, after convincing alby, he assigned you to work with the track-hoes after your ankle healed.

newt would help you with everything. weeding, pruning, whatever it was, he'd help you. you found it sweet, you loved how he'd show his care for you like this.

you two were close, and after you started working in the garden, clumsy after your ankle injury, newt sent you and newt together for fertilizer. just in case you tripped and got injured again. which, of course, happened.

alby was busy, so newt was in charge of the glade, away. zart asked you to go into the deadheads for some fertilizer, and you manage to trip over some root, twisting your ankle. what was it with you and your ankle injuries?

moving on..

after you being in the forest for too long, zart sent another glader to check up on you.

and then you guys returned. without fertilizer as zart requested, but instead with a limping you, with a twisted ankle. yay!!

only that zart didn't seem to happy, knowing he'd get in trouble with newt for sending you alone into the deadheads for some goddamn fertilizer, only for you to end up tripping and spraining your ankle.

oh well.. things like that happen, right? it was only human.

you got tended to in the med hut by jeff and clint, who then snitched and told newt. worried, he came over to you, looking you up and down for a moment.

"bloody hell, the one day i'm not there with you, huh?" he scoffed, kneeling down beside you. "how's your ankle?" he asked, and nodded towards your bandaged ankle.
