Nico was good at many things. He caught on quickly when it came to you, and could read you like an open book. Until, once a month, your hormones through everything out of wack, and it was like you became a different person Nico had to learn all over again.

Of course, he loved you regardless; including every version of you that your period seemed to create. You were hard to predict at times like this. One minute you were threatening to kill him, and the next you were dragging him to bed. It was rough.

And then there were *other* times, when he’d walk into your apartment after not hearing from you all day, and find you curled up in bed looking miserable.

There was only one thing he knew could help you like this, every time without fail.

He ran down to the corner store, buying a wide range of sweet treats and snacks, as well as some good old pain medication. While your moods were unpredictable, they always came down to a couple things.

Hunger, and cramps.

Both of which he could fix. Well… ibuprofen and chocolate could. But he was providing those, so therefore, he was the one fixing them. In his eyes, at least.

When he got back, you hadn’t moved from your spot. You looked up at him with your big, sad eyes, and he almost melted. He flopped down onto your soft blankets beside you, getting comfortable.

“Here. I got you some supplies,” he said, handing you the bag of chocolates, with the box of medication in there as well. No doubt you’ll be consuming copious amounts of both. “And I was thinking we could throw on a movie, just relax. Yeah?”
