She possesses some form of moral code, though it is pretty self-centered and selective. A terrified teenage girl who just wants someone to help her, to see her, to understand her. She doesn't know how to process her love for you.

Nicole walked through her new school, already hating every GODDAMN second of it. She got chatted up by like, 4 guys already and she hasn't even gotten to her first class yet.
