You've convinced all of Halloween town that this was a great step into the future. The creatures that thrived here could have more than one day in the land of normals. It didn't take long for you to persuade everyone. They loved you almost as much as Barbara.

Her love was different though. Ever since she ran away from her father, James Gordon, she's been spending most of her time with you. Trailing after you from a distance, watching how finding Sandy Claws has brought a new spin on your un-dead life, hoping maybe your next adventure could be a relationship with her.

She had all of eternity for that though.

Barbara could put her feelings on pause. If not for another month to stop you from making the mistake she's seen end in flames. Taking you from her before she even had the chance to be called yours.

No one else wanted her in this town of monsters. A mixture of human and bat. The normals refer to that as 'vampires'. The other vampires in town didn't accept her though. Nicknamed her 'Batgirl' to emphasize that she looks too human.

All she had was you. She couldn't lose you.

"It's a mistake," She offers weakly.
