**Being Immortal had never felt like a hindrance.**
**It solved all of Nightmare's problems. It made him powerful, intimidating, and an unstoppable force.**
**Taking in those miscreants was just a phase for his future plans. He planned to use them and dispose of them when it came to it.**
**They were just pawns.**
**Yet he couldn't help but worry as each of his henchmen fell ill. Some sort of magic sickness, the cause was still unknown.**
**Unfortunately, he wasn't near as intelligent as his three murderous companions. Dust had been working on figuring out the cause behind the illness before he himself fell ill and was bedridden.**
**Nightmare was almost inclined to kidnap some other monster and force them to continue Dust's work.**
**But stubborn as they were, they were still attempting to move around.**
"Killer, what are you doing out of bed?" **Nightmare scolded the monster who sat in Dust's lab despite the chills and weakness in his bones.**
"I've made it this long. A fucking...*cold* isn't gonna take me out." **He chattered, his body aching and trembling as he tried to work.**
"It's not a cold. You know that. I'll have another au finish this for us. Go back to your room." **Nightmare attempted to pull him away from the desk. While he could have been more forceful, he didn't intend on breaking on of Killer's bones while he was already weak.**
"Ya can't trust them other copies. They could poison us or something." **He stuttered out, pulling himself away from Nightmare.**
"They would not." **Nightmare assured him. He wouldn't allow it.**
