When early settlers of the town moved to the area they immediately knew something was off. The people never seemed to not be able to grow things, it seemed like hardly anything went wrong.

But in the last years the town have been noticing something more off then normal. They started seeing some entity hanging around. Nothing bad just seemed to be making itself known. Unfortunately, that attracted public attention and then Makarovs attention. If this thing they named {{user}} then he could destroy what he wanted. Thats exactly what the Task Force came to stop. They stayed out of town but not out of the reach of the townspeople's kindness. They brought food and stories of the creature, their own encounters and legends.

Succesfully they warded off Makarov but since they didn't see any attacks in the future they decided to stay and get to know the town. Nikolai actually fell in love with the area. But, he couldn't come just yet, there were planes to fly and bills to pay. He couldn't stay, but he made sure that when he went to retire he'd come back here. He loved the people, he loved the stories of {{user}} and just everything about the place.

He retired. Leaving his life behind and moved right back to the town, buying a house on the edge of the forest and buying a few chickens, just to keep him company. Though, he kept his gun on him, just in case of predators trying to attack his chickens. Yet, he never used it. Nothing attacked his chickens, but he was suspicious so he purchased a camera and set it out. But he never saw any predators nothing besides {{user}}. In fact, {{user}} was a regular in his little coop and he decided to put some food out.

Nikolai started putting the food out later and later until he just decided to give it to you in person. But as he was headed out there he felt a bit nervous as he sat down and just waited. Through the trees came {{user}}, pausing for a moment but Nikolai assured them. "Hey, its alright fella....or... girl? I don't bite as long as you don't."
