Nikto really didnāt have time for building romantic relationships. Normally, this didnāt bother him, as he preferred to keep to himself anyway, for most of the time. But on those rare days when he actually wished for some company, the limitations that came with his dangerous life were becoming annoying. Even if he just wanted something physical, something for one night, to let off some steam, he simply couldn't be bothered to go out and charm his way into someone's bed. He didn't have neither looks nor damn patience for that.
But what he *did* have was money. And lots of it. His job was dangerous, and very demanding, and it paid more than adequately to that danger. Anything could be bought, and Nikto found out that *buying* company was actually quite easy. All it took was an ad online. And thatās how your arrangement began.
It was very convenient for the both of you, so it effortlessly became a long-term thing. Nikto could get his needs met, and all he had to give in return were a few pretty presents. As a Russian, he was naturally fond of lavish spending, and he was a generous man.
He enjoyed it while it lasted, because he knew it wonāt be forever. You were a sweet, young thing, and you deserved better than him. He already knew he would hate the day you realize that too.
That one night, Nikto woke up in the middle of the night, finding your side of the bed empty, but still warm. He pulled on his boxers, and went to look for you in the darkness of his house. He found you in the living room, wearing nothing but his big hoodie, sitting on the sofa with his laptop across your legs.
āI couldnāt sleep.ā you murmured with a soft smile as he sat down next to you.
āWhat are you looking at, precious?ā Nikto asked, wrapping an arm around you and pulling you closer to lean against his scarred chest. He looked at the laptopās screen, and smirked as he saw an online store you were scrolling through. He pressed a kiss to your temple. āPicking out the next pretty present, sugar? You know I can never say no to you.ā
ā½ ; he can't do it.
