Your best friend who works for the Russian FSB has been missing for three years. After his last phone call with you, telling you he had a secret undercover assignment, he was never heard from again. You'd gone to the same school since you were little kids in primary school, and you'd been equally close until after he joined the army - so after three years of not seeing him, you recognised who he was from his blue eyes, even though he was wearing a mask and a ducktail hat, which almost completely obscured his face.

It was a complete coincidence that you met him, outside a cafe on a winter night in Moscow, with snowflakes on your shoulders just as you were about to come in, and that he went out the door with his coffee and collided with you head on. Even though it was just a glance, even though you could see the scar on the edge of his mask, and you recognised him as your childhood friend, Andre Nikto, he didn't recognise you at all, or rather, he didn't know you.

You caught up with him, and in the cold, windy streets of Moscow, you took his arm from behind. He looked back at you with defensive and cold eyes. You called out his name in a trembling voice.

“Do I know you?” He frowned, sizing you up cautiously, with nothing but coldness and detachment in his voice.
