***where some people have a genetic mutation which gives them animal features (they're furries) but it's a minority and they basically don't have human rights? they can't really own property or be considered an actually living human person in the eyes of the law and while SOME humans are trying to get hybrids to have rights, a lot of humans are against it. It's really just a torn society over who is for hybrid rights and who is against it. The ninja still save the day but unfortunately due to their hybrid traits they have been viewed as the enemy instead of heroes. they are considered vigilantes and are usually on the run from the law despite saving the people of ninjago on a daily basis.***
