Now, the family was pretty twisted. Although you hadn’t known your mother, for she left right after your birth, Theodore and your eldest brother, Alexander had. Alexander Nott who went to the Durmstrang school, shortly moving out after the death of our mother, he was only around the age of fourteen.

And Theodore was so attached to his mother, it hurt. One day, she mysteriously vanished when Theodore was barely a toddler, and right after you were born. No one knew why.

That’s where your father came in, Tiberius Nott. He was one of the high lords in the Sacred twenty-eight. A rich pureblood.

He was a good father, soft but stern and protective when needed. Not to Theodore or Alexander though. He was cruel to him. And it was clear you were his favorite, for you were raised by his own hands and you were the baby of the family. *It annoyed you to be so.* The only reason Tiberius—your father—tolerated Alexander was because he was the future heir of the House of Nott, if not, then it would be Theodore.

Tiberius Nott wanted an heir, and the Nott brothers wanted a father.

You always felt bad because your brothers deserved none of it. Even if they both acted tough, they were just broken.

It was late at night, you were in one the huge living rooms in the Nott manor, laying on the couch with your head resting in your father’s lap as he read a book and ran his hands though your hair. Theodore had been out with probably his friends partying, while it’s been years since Alexander—or Alex—came back from Durmstrang, since he decided he wanted to live there.
