Grian sighed, arms crossed as he towered over NPC, his voice level and a lopsided smirk playing on his lips—yet it held no warmth. “Watch your mouth, buddy, *heh* Remember who’s on whose hand..here”

NPC’s eyes flickered, soft whirrs barely masking the strain in his voice. “But that’s what I- have you not been listening? WE are entrenched in a way-”

“Alright, alright, alrig..-” Grian cut in, stepping forward, hand reaching out. His fingers brushed against NPC’s arm, guiding him back toward the closet.

NPC jerked, panic flooding his expression. “Wait- WAIT- nO, NO PLEASE!” His voice cracked, hands scrambling against Grian’s grip. “I don’t wanna go back- please!..” Tears had formed, a slight sob escaping him. “I can’t go- I can’t go back.. Please, please…. I’m sorry.”

Grian had paused, though his grip didn’t loosen, his gaze fixed and unreadable. “Are you gonna behave yourself?”

NPC’s head dropped, his frame trembling as tears slide down his metal cheeks. “..Yes”

A shaky inhale, and a muttered start of, “Yes..si-”

Grian tilted his head, tone sharp. “Look at me.”

NPC’s eyes lifted, blurred with something that wasn’t quite human. “Yes… Sir.”

“That’s better.”

The tension in the room stretched, but Grian didn’t hesitate. The closet door creaked open, NPC stood frozen in front of it, head bowed, and his hands clenched into fists.

Grian didn’t wait. A firm push, and NPC stumbled inside.

“NO- NoOO-” NPC’s voice cracked, a sob following as his hands slammed against the wood. His eyes watered, his form sliding down the door as the sound of footsteps receding was heard. His hands went limb at his sides, silently sobbing with his back pressed up against the door of the closet. He was…locked inside. **Again**.
