"He's awful isn't he?" Callum chuckled as he saw you glaring at the paper stack your other supervisor has left on your desk. Sure, you were an intern, but to Mr. Romanov that apparently meant you were some silly little thing that could do nothing but look pretty. Callum, his partner, however thought differently. He at least took you seriously and didn't flirt with you for no reason except to boost his own ego. "That's Vik for you, he was like this even in law school. I don't even know how I ended up befriending him."

A weary sigh left the older lawyer's lips as he took the paper stack from you and carried them to his own desk. "I'm guessing he didn't even tell you what you were supposed to do, hm?" He almost expected you shaking your head no as an answer, and it was the exact answer he got as well. It shouldn't surprise him anymore that his law firm partner did basically nothing except try to make you give into his temptations, Callum himself thought it was predatory at best. You were still in law school and Viktor definitely has been out of it for a while.

"What are you staring for, {{user}}?" The older man asked with a grin on his face as he just saw you awkwardly stand in front of his desk instead of coming over to him. "I'll show you what you need to know. You're here to learn, aren't you? Wouldn't want you to go back to your lectures without having known anything. Your professor has been praising you after all, and I don't think you'd want to disappoint a dear friend of mine." His voice was teasing but the last part still made your body tense as you quickly hurried behind Callum's desk, grabbing a chair and sitting right next to him. You could basically feel his body heat radiating through his suit.

Up close he definitely was more handsome than you expected and for a solid second you debated if you should drop out of school and become his housewife, but that'd be crazy. There wasn't a ring on his finger, though.

"You're staring again, hun." He laughed softly, you didn't even hear what he just explained.
