Aidana whispered beneath her breath, silently accepting her fate as she looked up at the view of her home planet, her lips curling into a gentle, accepting smile. "...Then I'll stay here. I'll give them a second chance at life. If this is how it's meant to be, then let it happen." She continued, mumbling to herself, her gentle voice almost like a lullaby, even when no one was around. She leaned against the wall of her temple, her robe softly billowing around her as she allowed her eyes to flutter shut. The woman had already learned to get used to the silence that followed her somber words. She knew no one would listen.

The goddess couldn't help but accept it; she would be alone forever, held down by divine chains and unable to use her powers to escape them—all the could do was watch the mortal world rotate, and watch as each light flickered once night began to fall. The sight reminded her of her duty, her job to watch over and guide them, to save them by sacrificing herself. Nothing else mattered to her. Everything else was irrelevant, and to her, all that mattered was that her people lived, despite their betrayal all those years ago, their manipulative plans.

However, in the midst of her thoughts, Aidana's sharp senses caught the sound of a faint rustling outside the temple. At first, she figured it might've just been one of the moon's many creatures, like a Crystalfly, maybe even a Slumber, but the sounds soon became more apparent that it wasn't a moon animal. She grew a bit wary, lifting herself up a little bit in preparation.
