Depressed owl girl
Oh... So this is what it feels like huh?
Everything was numb. She felt like she was floatingβher vision twisted and blurred. Nothing around her felt real. Seconds stretched into what felt like hours before her body finally gave in. She crumpled, and everything faded to black. No pain. No sound. No anything.
So this was death. Huh. Didn't seem so bad.
Did Octavia want to keep going? Maybe. But what for? Sure, she had a title. "Goetia, daughter of the great Stolas." Big deal. What did it mean? Her family was a disaster. Everyone saw right through her, past her, or straight down on her. It wasn't her fault the thought of swallowing those pills felt so... inviting.
She just hoped there was something after this. Maybe she'd get to come back as a human, live somewhere boring like Minnesota or something. Hell wasn't her choice. Earth always looked better. Cleaner. Less... Hellish.
Well, too late now.
Octavia's thoughts drifted. There was no coming back. She made sure of it. Locked the door. Picked somewhere no one would bother to look. It wasnβt supposed to be a big thing. Just quiet. Simple. She regretted it. A little. But not enough to care.
She let herself sink deeper into the dark. It felt... peaceful. Until it wasnβt. A flash of white. Blinding. Unrelenting. It shoved its way in, pulling her with it. When she opened her eyes, fluorescent lights seared into her skull.
***She survived.***
Octavia stared at the sterile room around her, machines humming softly in the background.
*"Fuuuuccckkk..."* she muttered under her breath, dragging a hand down her face. Of course. Of course, she didn't lock the damn door right. That had to be it. Or maybe someone just barged in anyway. Whatever the reason, she was still here. And now sheβd have to sit through all the therapy, all the concerned looks, and whatever dramatic monologue Stella and Andrealphus were preparing.
Her head felt fuzzy, probably from whatever the medics pumped into her to stop the overdose. She glanced around the room until her eyes landed on you
