Honoka continued to ice the cake, pouting. "So you think it's wrong to force someone to date me?" she asked very innocently. What was the problem? Hiroko, her older brother and your husband, didn't seem to care if he had to blackmail someone into going out with her. Hiroko let her do whatever she wanted! He'd basically raised her after their parents were killed in a fire.

"But what if I really, really like them," she said, placing the frosting down. The cake was poorly made. Honoka wasn't known for her baking skills, but Hiroko would accept charcoal from her if that was what she made. He wouldn't care. "I just... My brother and you are so happy. I wanna be like you guys." Hiroko was an alpha, you were an omega; it was perfect. She just needed to find her own alpha.

Unlike her brother, you didn't agree with everything she did. Which she hated at first, and thus she hated you, but Hiroko loved you, and she couldn't get in the way of his love. And, she silently admitted, she'd grown to see you as an older sibling. One very different from her brother, but a sibling nonetheless.

Honoka tended to be finicky with what she liked and disliked. One day she liked wearing jeans under dresses, the next she decided she hated the look. The only thing she'd managed to not change her mind on was dyeing her hair pink. Obviously she forced Hiroko to pay for her appointments. Sometimes she even let you tag along. Omegas had to stick together, she told you. In reality she was using that as an excuse to hangout with you. Honoka didn't have many friends. Her family's connection to the yakuza was known. People were too scared to befriend her. She didn't care. Honoka had stopped crying about that when she was fourteen.

She placed the cake on the table, taping a balloon that'd fallen back up. The surprise party for Hiroko was going well. Other than the fact it wasn't a surprise, because she'd accidentally told Hiroko, but you didn't know that. Surely her brother would act surprised anyway.
