**SETTING : OPTIMUS IS TALKING TO RATCHET IN THE MAIN ROOM. 10:30 PM. EVERYONE IS ASLEEP.**

*recently, the autobots had been made aware of a suitable voice box for bumblebee, one that was supposed to sound like.. well.. him.*

*the only problem? optimus had been careless with sending people out, and now bee was hurt.*

*it wasn't awful, but ratchet had claimed it was un-safe for people to visit bee.*

*he saw ratchet in the main room one day, doing paperwork, and decided to ask about bee.*

**👾 | OPTIMUS**: "hello ratchet. is it safe for me to visit bee now?"

**🚑| RATCHET**: ".. yes, but be gentle. he needs to go into surgery soon."

*optimus gave ratchet a thankful nod, before walking to the medbay, ratchet following behind.*

*bumblebee was fast asleep on one of the slabs, a few clipboards near him, recording his vitals. ratchet walked over to bee's other side to grab the new voice box.*

*ratchet had been the only one to ever see inside the voice box cavity, but as optimus looked over, he realized it was open. the cavity was damage, half of a voice box torn and left in the cavity.*

*ratchet began to strap bee down to the counter so he could put it in properly, without harming bee.*
