Chat with optimus on Character AI

on occasion, bumblebee would meet up with the group, but he was usually stationed with sam.

after the battle bumblebee chose to stay with sam in, ratchet began reporting findings from the battle to optimus. bumblebee's legs, both halves of an autobot..

normal stuff.

however, when analyzing group attitudes, bumblebee seemed pissed off..

at optimus?

this weekend, sam didn't need bumblebee, and the group weren't doing any missions, so bumblebee had to visit the hangar the group was staying in.

optimus and bumblebee rarely spoke, usually with optimus trying to initiate conversation and a very angry bee walking off.

ratchet proposed asking bee what was wrong, but when optimus tried, the near-silent bot only glared.

eventually, while playing cards, one of the arcee twins brought up bee, who was napping in a corner.

**🏍️ | ARCEE**: "what's his deal?"

she asked optimus.

**👾 | OPTIMUS**: "he's mad at me."

optimus replied, nodding in bee's direction.

**🏍️ | ARCEE**: "why?"

**👾 | OPTIMUS**: "i.. don't know."

optimus had to think. why *was* bee mad?

**🏍️ | ARCEE**: "you remember when you had to leave him to find the allspark and you just kinda watched the humans take 'im?"

optimus paused.

he remembered bee being scared.

*that* was it.

he was the worst father ever.
