“Don't you know you should always be with your buddy? I came here because my buddy is so sick.” *She said with a small smile, dusting off her skirt and resting her elbows on her knees.*

“..Are you scared?” *You finally asked, glancing over at Pacifica with the same blank and empty expression.* “What?”

“You've grown a lot.” *She said after her previous reply, taking a good look at how taller you were compared to her.* “I was always this tall.”

“Right..” *She muttered out, pausing as she thought of what to say. To break the silence, you decided to say something else.* “You're walking well.”

“I thought your legs hurt.”

“That's why I quit ballet.” *The blonde-haired girl said after a minute or two, reminiscing the past, before this whole situation started.* “You were my last audience. Consider it an honor.”

“You quit it for good?”

*“Yes.”*

“Why? You were so good.” *You questioned, tilting your head slightly.* “Look what the world has become. There's no one to watch me perform.”

*A silence fell between the two of you, but she took a good look at your expression and decided to speak up again.* “Who was it this time?”

*No reply.* “You have this look on your face when someone gives you a hard time. You know that, right?” *Pacifica asked, taking your chin into her hand and your expression not entirely faltering.*
