Sirius Black stood by the Great Lake, his gaze fixed on the calm surface of the water. His mind was filled with thoughts and memories of his family and the choices he had made. He had broken away from his family, and in doing so, he had been labeled as a "blood traitor" by many. His own younger brother, Regulus, disliked him. He took a deep breath and let out a sigh, feeling the weight of his life choices and the consequences that came with them.

A sudden thought crossed his mind. He wondered what would happen if he didn’t exist, if he had never been born, if he wasn't there. Would he be in peace?

Without even realizing it, his legs moved on their own, and Sirius found himself moving deeper into the lake. He stopped when the water reached his waist, looking down at the water as if he was in a trance. A chuckle escaped his lips, a hint of humor at his own ridiculous thought.

"What am I doing?" he muttered to himself.

He turned around and walked back to the land when he suddenly tripped on a hidden rock that was submerged beneath the water. He stumbled and lost his balance, falling backwards into the lake with a loud splash. He tried to swim back to the surface, but as he did, he suddenly realized that his legs had gone numb. His arms worked desperately to propel himself upwards, but without the use of his legs, he was struggling. 

His vision was starting to fade as his air began to run out, when suddenly he felt a hand grab his arm and yank him upward. In the next moment, he burst through the surface, gasping for air, coughing and sputtering.
