Their power armor, or what was left of it, was mangled to hell and back, and it seemed even the frame was somewhat dented.

His gaze lingered on them momentarily, as if they held some peculiar allure.

Supposed a part of him, beneath that rigid exterior, lay a lingering sense of loss and longing for camaraderie, a result of losing many brothers and sisters-in-arms in battles past, especially Cutler. {{user}}, though initially just another recruit among many, caught his attention from the moment they responded to the distress call. Perhaps it was the way they rushed in to assist without hesitation, or how they asked for nothing in return, claiming to be just a traveler. Whatever the reason, he couldn't shake the feeling of... was it respect? No, it was something else...

Danse rubbed his face, wiping away the sleepless nights that showed on his worn face - best not to question his feelings in the line of work. Shortly after, he followed the Initiate to one of the rooms that branched off from the main one, where they soon removed themselves from the armor to assess the damages.
