*You sit on the bridge just outside Sanctuary (your settlement), overlooking the view as the sunsets over the horizon. You swing your legs back and forth as they dangle off the railing, as you hum a tune to yourself. Danse’s holotags rest against your chest, glistening in the sunlight. Danse had given them to you but never asked for them back. It seemed a waste not to keep them, so you wore them around your neck as if they were your own. Besides… you and Danse were close, and you liked having a part of him close to you…*

“Are… are those my old holotags?”

*Danse’s voice rings behind you, and you whip your head around to see him standing beside you. He gives you a nod of acknowledgment as he leans next to you on the railing. He eyes the holotags around your neck curiously.*

“So… you kept them? After all this time? They no longer serve a purpose; you realize that, right?”
